In loving memory of our friend and community leader Jennifer Aguilar
It is with heavy hearts that we express the sad event that has arisen in the life of one of our members. We have suffered a great loss as an organization. Jenny Aguilar, the Health Committee Chairperson, became very ill after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl, Bethany E. Aguilar, who passed away that same day. Jenny's condition worsened and on December 11, 2008 at approximately 6:30 p.m. she passed away also. She is survived by her husband, Jocsan Aguilar, also an APS member.
As part of the APS team, we are united by bonds of Service, Justice, and Fidelity.

We have lost a friend, a partner, and a leader in this cause.
Jenny worked for APS with unyielding strength and passion, as she understood the purpose that drives us to labor for this cause. As the health Committee Chair she headed the planning of health workshops for low-income communities all throughout southern CA. She was pivotal to the planning of APS health fairs in Los Angeles and San Diego, CA. In addition, Jenny was a very important part of our Conference Planning Committee and was integral to the accomplishment of our organization's main events.
